This page explains what data we collect through the site, why we collect it, how we protect it, and what rights you have over it.
Last updated: 30 August 2026
1.Scope of this policy
This policy explains how PMEC – Environmental Consulting handles personal data received through this website. It covers the website only, and not dealings that take place outside it such as contracts and direct correspondence, which are governed by what is agreed with you in writing.
By using the site or submitting a request through it, you acknowledge that you have read this policy.
2.Data you provide directly
When you submit a consultation request through the site form, we collect what you enter:
- Name
- Mobile number
- Email address (optional)
- Facility name (optional)
- Facility activity and city
- Any additional details you write in the message field
3.Data collected automatically
With every request submitted through the site, technical data is recorded automatically to help us understand where the request came from and to protect the form from automated submissions:
- Your IP address
- Browser and operating system (user agent)
- The page the request was sent from and the first landing page
- The site or advertisement the visitor came from (referrer)
- Campaign identifiers where present, such as utm_source, utm_campaign and gclid
- Date and time of submission
4.Contact click tracking
When you click the call or WhatsApp button, we record the click, its type and the page it came from, along with your IP address and browser. This is used solely to measure how well the site performs. We do not record the content of your call or conversation, as those take place entirely outside the site.
5.Cookies
The site uses a first-party cookie named pmec_attr, stored on your device for up to 90 days. It contains no personal data — only the source of your visit (such as the advertising campaign and landing page) so we can tell which marketing channels actually produce enquiries.
The site may also use cookies belonging to the analytics and advertising tools listed in the next section. You can delete or block cookies at any time in your browser settings, noting this may affect some site functions.
6.Analytics and advertising tools
We may use third-party tools to measure site and campaign performance. When enabled, these may collect anonymous or pseudonymous usage data under their providers' own policies:
- Google Analytics and Google Ads (Google)
- Google Tag Manager for managing measurement tags
- Additional tools that may be enabled later, such as Meta Pixel, Microsoft Clarity and LinkedIn Insight Tag
7.How we use your data
We use the data we collect only for the following purposes:
- Responding to your request and providing the consultation or service asked for
- Contacting you about your request by phone, WhatsApp or email
- Determining your facility's environmental requirements accurately
- Measuring and improving site and campaign performance
- Protecting the site from automated submissions and misuse
8.What we do not do with your data
- We do not sell your personal data to anyone
- We do not rent or trade client data lists
- We do not use your data for purposes other than those it was submitted for
- We do not send bulk marketing messages to people who only submitted a consultation request
9.Sharing data with third parties
Your data may be shared only in the following cases: with technical service providers who operate the site, hosting and measurement tools, and only as needed to run the service; with competent authorities where there is a legal obligation or official request; or as necessary to deliver the service agreed with you.
In delivering our services, submitting your facility documents to the competent government authorities may be required. This is an inherent part of the service itself and is done with your knowledge.
10.Data retention
We retain consultation request data for as long as necessary to handle the request and manage our relationship with you, and in line with applicable regulatory and accounting requirements. You may request deletion of your data at any time under the section below.
11.Data security
Data is stored in a database on a secured server, and access is limited to authorised team members through a login-protected dashboard. The site is served over an encrypted connection (HTTPS).
That said, no method of transmission over the internet can be guaranteed absolutely secure. We advise against sending sensitive documents through the site form; please agree a suitable channel with us instead.
12.Your rights
Under the Personal Data Protection Law of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, you have the right to:
- Know what personal data we hold about you
- Obtain a copy of it
- Request correction of any inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your data when it is no longer needed for the purpose it was collected for
- Withdraw your consent to future use of your data
13.Children's privacy
This site is directed at facilities and companies. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under eighteen. If such data reaches us, we delete it as soon as we become aware.
14.Links to other sites
The site may contain links to external websites or social media accounts. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of those sites, and we recommend reviewing their policies when you visit them.
15.Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our services or applicable regulations change. The last updated date appears at the top of this page, and any change takes effect from the date it is published here.
